I am afraid you got it terribly wrong on several counts. Firstly, your spelling is wrong – it is not ‘ling’ but linga, or, better still, lingam.
Linga actually has several parts; chief among them are 1) the cylindrical part on the top 2) the base (What is known as ‘ஆவுடை’ in Tamil) or yoni in Sanskrit. Together, the lingam-yoni connote the masculine and feminine principles in the entirety of creation and all existence. The lingam may have one / four / five faces. An Ekmukha lingam has just one face, Chaturmukha lingam has four faces in the cardinal directions, while a Panchamukha lingam has a total of five (the fifth is on the top) and represents Sadashiva. How many faces does the linga like juicer has ?
When you apply pressure with all your might to squeeze out the juice from a fruit, do you really believe that you are trying to bathe ? Besides, I also feel that Gods won’t really love ‘abishekams’ – most of the materials used are sticky and not-so-pleasant smelling.

Hi, Mama, I just saw your comment 😀 I understand what you’re trying to say and I love the amount of detail you have put into explaining it, but I deliberately didn’t look too much into details for my analogy 😀 In my eyes, all I saw was that it looked like a Linga (“Ling” is also one of the spellings). And Lord Shiva loves abishegams, Mama. While Lord Vishnu loves being draped in rich silk and jewels, Lord Shiva loves being bathed. Whether it is milk or ghee or fruits. My analogy was just a result of an affectionate and devoted vision 😀
